IGCSE ESL Magazine Articles

The IGCSE English as Second Language exam asks candidates to write short (maximum 200 words) articles about topical issues, normally for a school magazine or local newspaper. I'm posting here some example articles, to give you an idea of what you need to write. I've highlighted in yellow the parts that you might want to learn because they could be useful for a number of different topics. Look at these examples while you practise with other past paper questions and see if you can use some of these phrases in your writing.
